- Research Interest: I am interested in examining how differing selective pressures on physiological traits influence population dynamics and community structure. Specifically, I am interested in examining whether physiological and morphological traits related to beach dune disturbances may lead to population differentiation in dune colonizing plants. Additionally, I am investigating changes in physiological traits related to salt tolerance in dune annuals and whether there is a cost to maintaining these traits in certain habitats.
